What does Mighty Patch do?
Mighty Patch is an acne patch containing hydrocolloid – a plant-based fluid absorbing gel. When you stick the patch on acne after gentle cleansing, the gel absorbs and traps the gunk. When it turns white in six to eight hours, you know that the patch has removed the gunk and that it is time to peel it off. You will also notice that the acne has shrunk and flattened! The patch is also said to protect your skin from acne scars.
Some Mighty Patch products contain a few mild chemicals, and they are meant to treat specific conditions and not just acne.

Does Mighty Patch work?
Mighty Patch is recommended for a host of different skin conditions. Let’s take a look at what these skin conditions are, and whether Mighty Patch is a good solution.
Mighty Patch for Cystic acne
Cystic acne look like large pimples on the surface but runs deep under the surface of the skin. It is caused by the build-up of dead skin, dirt, oil, and bacteria in the pores.
Mighty Patch Original or Micropoint for Blemishes are recommended for cystic acne. They work well to remove the pus from mild acne. However, if your cystic acne is adamant and resides extremely deep in the skin – you may have to pay a visit to the dermatologist.
Mighty Patch For Blackheads
A blackhead is a type of acne caused by the clogging of oil in hair follicles, overproduction of oil by the glands, accumulation of dead skin and bacteria in the pores, and hormonal changes.
Mighty Patch Original, Mighty Patch Nose, Mighty Patch Surface, and Micropoint for Blemishes work well for blackheads. If your blackheads issue is due to hormonal changes or other health problems, consult your physician.
Mighty Patch For Popped pimples
When you pop a pimple, it will result in infection and leave scars on the skin. You can use Mighty Patch Original or Mighty Patch Invisible to remove the residual pus from the popped pimple. For quick healing of the skin and lightening of the scar, you can use Mighty Patch for Dark Spots or Mighty Patch Dark Spot Duo.
Mighty Patch For Acne scars
Scars is caused by inflammation of blemishes or by the gunk that spills out of the pimples. To lighten and remove acne scars, you can use Mighty Patch Dark Spots or Mighty Patch Dark Spot Duo. They not only help you in getting rid of the scars but also heal the affected skin area.
Mighty Patch For Milia
Milia occurs in newborns and babies when small flakes of skin get trapped beneath skin surfaces. In adults, milia are caused by the trapping of dead skin below the new skin.
Mighty Patch Original or Micropoint for Blemishes can be used to treat milia in adults. However, we would not recommend Mighty Patch for babies. In most cases, milia in babies go away on their own.
Although Mighty Patch Original is made with a plant-based fluid that is potentially safe, the patch could still harm her delicate skin. Consult your pediatrician before using it on your baby.
Mighty Patch For Dark Spots
Hyperpigmentation or collection of melanin on a particular area of the skin can be a cause for concern. You can pick Mighty Patch Dark Spots or Mighty Patch Dark Spot Duo to treat dark spots.
The vitamin C content along with other ingredients will lighten the dark spots and give you clearer skin. However, if you are getting the dark spots due to hormones or other health conditions, Mighty Patch is not the treatment – you should see your physician.
Mighty Patch For Whiteheads
Whiteheads are a type of acne where the pore or hair follicle filled with bacteria, dead skin, dirt, and oil is closed. It can also be caused by the overproduction of oil by the glands.
Mighty Patch Original and Mighty Patch Nose work well on whiteheads. If there is a cluster of whiteheads, you can choose Mighty Patch Surface.
Mighty Patch For Blind pimples
These are hard and painful pimples formed below the surface of the skin. Since they are not visible on the skin’s surface, they are called blind pimples.
You can try Micropoint for Blemishes for blind pimples as it contains vitamin C and extracts of tea tree oil that are good for this condition. Further, the product is known to soften the skin and remove the pus.
Mighty Patch For Skin tags
These are painless extra growths on the skin consisting of fibers, nerve cells, and fat cells. Skin tags are usually caused by rubbing or folding of the skin. They are also prevalent among some older men and women with type 2 diabetes.
Mighty Patch may not be an effective treatment for skin tags. However, you can try Micropoint for Blemishes as it contains salicylic acid – the acid is known to result in drying and falling off of the skin tag.
Mighty Patch For Red pimples
Red pimples, also known as papules, or inflammatory acne are usually swollen and sore. You can try Mighty Patch Original or Micropoint for Blemishes. If your red pimples carry infection and do not go away with these patches, consult your physician.
Mighty Patch For Cold sores
These are a cluster of painful blisters caused by a strain of the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Mighty Patch is not an anti-viral and hence does not work for cold sores. You should visit your doctor and take topical and oral anti-virals to cure cold sores.
